Execution infrastructure and counterparty risk

Map the execution, custody, settlement, and infrastructure risks around a leveraged trade.

01

Follow the full trade lifecycle

A Novrinex order moves through validation, execution, reconciliation, account updates, and settlement. A delay or failure at any stage can change when an order becomes final or when funds become available again.

02

Map concentrated dependencies

Multiple markets can share an oracle, settlement asset, bridge, chain, liquidity source, or risk system. Count shared dependencies rather than only visible tickers.

03

Prepare before an incident

Know the Novrinex status, revocation, account-recovery, and withdrawal paths before they become urgent.

  • Review current market status
  • Limit unnecessary idle collateral
  • Test withdrawals before urgency
  • Understand liquidation and loss-allocation rules
04

Separate five operational roles

The visible interface, order-routing service, execution venue, collateral custodian or contract, and settlement system may be different components. A user can retain wallet control while still depending on a provider to accept orders, calculate margin, run liquidations, publish state, and process withdrawals.613

Provider risk includes more than insolvency. Outages, stale data, market pauses, governance changes, fee changes, thin liquidity, legal restrictions, and failed reconciliation can all prevent the expected action at the expected time.425

05

Reduce concentration deliberately

List shared dependencies across positions, including settlement token, chain, bridge, oracle, and venue. Holding several tickers through one stack is not infrastructure diversification. Keep only necessary collateral deployed and test recovery routes before they become urgent.63
