Wallet balance
Wallet balance is USDC in the wallet linked to your Novrinex account. Deposits arrive here first. You can withdraw it, send it to another address, use it for supported wallet markets, or move it to Trading balance.
A balance move is not a payment to Novrinex. The funds remain associated with an account owned by you.
Trading balance
Trading balance is USDC set aside so orders can be placed quickly without moving funds for every trade. Most Novrinex markets use this balance.
Once funded, the balance can be reused across supported orders. You only need another transfer when the free Trading balance is insufficient. You can move unused funds back to your Wallet balance.
In positions
In positions is capital currently supporting open positions. It is part of your account equity, but it is not free to move while the position needs it as margin.
Closing or reducing a position releases eligible margin back into the relevant available balance, after realized profit, loss, funding, and fees are applied.
Total balance
Total balance combines Wallet balance, Trading balance, and position equity. Moving USDC between Wallet and Trading balance changes its location, not your total funds.
Your Total balance can change through deposits, withdrawals, trading profit or loss, funding payments, and fees. Small differences can also appear while an external transfer or venue update is still confirming.
Why Novrinex keeps the balances separate
Different market systems require capital in different user-owned accounts. Novrinex presents these locations as Wallet balance and Trading balance so you can see where funds are and whether they are immediately available for an order.
When an order needs more Trading balance, Novrinex shows the required movement before anything is submitted. Transfers have their own tracked state and the order is checked again after the funds arrive.
