Underlying

Bitcoin / USD reference

The contract provides price exposure to bitcoin without transferring bitcoin to the wallet.

Session

Continuous

The market is intended to trade around the clock, subject to provider availability.

Funding

Periodic long-short transfer

Funding encourages the perpetual price to remain near its index.

Contract type

Linear perpetual

P&L is calculated in the quote asset from the change in the underlying reference price.

Execution

Central limit order book

Orders match against displayed bids and asks on the execution provider.

Margin

Provider-defined tiers

Initial and maintenance requirements depend on the venue and position size.

Liquidation reference

Mark price

The provider uses a fair-price calculation rather than one isolated last trade.

Reading guide

A ticker is the beginning of the contract, not the complete description.

Reference

Identify the underlying index or oracle, its source markets, update behavior, and what happens while the underlying session is closed.

Execution

Determine whether quantity meets visible depth or executes from a reference quote and spread. The visible reference is not necessarily the achievable average fill.

Account

Check collateral, settlement currency, margin mode, leverage cap, maintenance requirement, and whether other positions share support.

Carry

Separate entry and exit fees from funding or rollover. Convert periodic rates into currency across the intended holding period.

Failure rules

Read liquidation, price-band, market-pause, stale-data, insurance-fund, and withdrawal behavior before those controls become relevant.

Live state

The Novrinex order ticket and account ledger show the current values, accepted orders, fills, positions, and settlement state for the selected market.
