Prop Rulebook

Rules for loss limits, evaluation targets, trading, and reward payments.

Read the AgreementChoose an account

Loss limits and profit targets

Daily floor

Daily anchor - (starting balance x daily-loss %)

Resets at 00:00 UTC when the account has a daily limit.

Maximum drawdown

Starting balance - (starting balance x drawdown %)

The floor stays fixed as equity changes.

Target equity

Starting balance + (starting balance x target %)

Positions and working orders must also be closed.

Equity at or below a loss floor is a breach. Finalized Novrinex trading state controls the calculation.

01

Account authority and definitions

The frozen Order Form supplies the starting balance, targets, daily-loss percentage if any, maximum-drawdown percentage, leverage, eligible markets, minimum trading days, and reward share. Equity means simulated cash plus finalized realized and unrealized PnL, less finalized fees and funding. Working orders are accepted orders that have not been filled, cancelled, rejected, or expired. Finalized means recorded in the authoritative finalized Novrinex trading state.

02

Daily loss

When a daily limit applies, the daily anchor is the account equity recorded at 00:00 UTC. Daily loss floor equals daily anchor equity minus starting balance multiplied by the daily-loss percentage. Fees, funding, realized PnL, and unrealized PnL are included. Open positions do not reset at midnight. Equity at or below the floor is a breach. If the 00:00 UTC observation is delayed, the first finalized observation attributable to the reset boundary is used and no later favorable observation substitutes for it.

03

Maximum drawdown

Maximum drawdown is static, not trailing. Maximum drawdown floor equals starting balance minus starting balance multiplied by the maximum-drawdown percentage. It does not rise with peak equity. Equity at or below the floor is a breach.

04

Targets and stage completion

Target equity equals starting balance plus starting balance multiplied by the stage target percentage. A stage passes only when finalized equity is at or above the target, required minimum trading days are complete, all positions are closed, and no working orders remain. Phase 2 starts with a fresh simulated balance equal to the original starting balance. One-Step and Bespoke accounts advance to funded status after passing. Instant accounts begin funded after provisioning.

05

Orders, prices, and execution

Only markets and order types enabled in the terminal and Order Form are eligible. Risk checks use the mark, index, book, fills, fees, funding, and account state recorded by Novrinex's finalized trading system. Simulated fills can include spread, available simulated liquidity, slippage, and venue constraints; displayed quotes do not guarantee execution. Orders may be rejected or paused when required market, liquidity, account, or risk data is unavailable, inconsistent, or stale.

06

Breach handling

When finalized equity reaches a loss floor, new opening orders are blocked, working orders are cancelled, and open positions are closed reduce-only as the system permits. Cleanup fills, fees, funding, and slippage remain part of the final simulated result. The account page records the rule code, equity, applicable floor, time, and finalized block or event reference. A breach does not create a refund or automatic retry discount.

07

Technical errors and market interruptions

A clearly duplicated order, invalid fill, corrupted price, or result caused by a confirmed platform defect may be corrected to the outcome the published rules and valid market data would have produced. Novrinex will record the reason and affected activity. General latency, normal slippage, adverse market movement, participant connectivity, wallet failure, or an unavailable third-party service is not by itself a correctable platform error. During an outage or integrity incident, affected markets or accounts may be paused until reliable state is restored.

08

Permitted and prohibited strategies

Participants may use discretionary trading, their own API clients, and their own automation. They may not share accounts; copy another person's trades through coordinated instructions or automation; hedge or offset risk between accounts or identities to manufacture outcomes; wash trade or self-deal; manipulate simulated liquidity; evade geographic, identity, payment, account, or promotion limits; interfere with risk controls; or knowingly exploit stale prices, delayed risk checks, duplicate processing, or other errors. Similar strategies alone are not proof of coordination; reviews consider timing, control, funding, access, and trading evidence together.

09

Rewards

Eligible reward basis is finalized realized profit on an active funded account above its starting balance, excluding profit already reserved or paid and subject to the frozen reward share. Positions and working orders must be closed before request. Minimum request is 50 USDC. After a paid reward, the next request opens 14 days later. The simulated balance does not reset after payment, and the same profit cannot be claimed twice. Reviews target three business days but may take longer when compliance, security, payment, or technical review is reasonably required.

10

Reward review and payment

Approved rewards are sent to the eligible account wallet or another verified address supported by Novrinex. Network confirmation controls completion. A failed or returned transfer remains unpaid and may be retried after address verification. Novrinex may deny the affected portion of a reward when the underlying activity violated the accepted rules, and will provide the material reason. The participant may request review within 14 days.

11

Evidence and precedence

The authoritative evidence is the finalized Novrinex trading state, frozen Order Form, recorded acceptance receipt, order and fill records, rule events, and payment records. A temporary UI value or third-party chart does not override finalized records. If a general Rulebook example conflicts with the account's frozen numerical values, the frozen Order Form controls those values.

12

Worked examples

For a 10,000 pUSDC account with a 3% daily limit, a 10,200 pUSDC daily anchor produces a 9,900 pUSDC daily floor because 3% is calculated from the 10,000 starting balance. With a 6% static maximum drawdown, the maximum-drawdown floor is always 9,400 pUSDC. Equity at exactly 9,900 or 9,400 breaches the applicable rule. For a 10% target, the target equity is 11,000 pUSDC.
