How trading competitions work
To enter a competition, read its Rulebook and join from the competition page. Paper events give you a dedicated account with a starting pUSDC balance, while Live events count qualifying trades from your real trading account. Once you’ve joined, open the terminal from the competition page to start trading.
Paper accounts and pUSDC
pUSDC records your simulated trading balance. It has no monetary value and cannot be withdrawn. Your Paper account and each Paper competition have separate balances, positions, and results.

Paper competitions
After joining, open the competition terminal and activate its account. Novrinex assigns the starting pUSDC balance automatically. You do not need to claim tokens or transfer funds.
If you enter several Paper competitions, trade each through its own account. Your balance and results in one event do not affect another.
Live competitions
Live competitions use real funds. Trades must meet the event’s rules to count toward its leaderboard. Check its eligible markets, minimum equity, scoring method, and trading window before placing orders.
Switching accounts
Use Switch account in the terminal to select a Paper competition you have entered. Check the account name above the terminal before placing an order.
To return to paper trading outside competitions, select Paper in the same menu. New orders use the selected account.
- Joining does not move funds or place an order.
- Paper competition balances cannot be transferred, withdrawn, topped up, or reset.
- Switching accounts leaves existing positions and orders open.
- You remain entered in a competition when you switch accounts.
Rules, rankings, and prizes
The event’s Rulebook sets its trading window, eligible markets, leverage limits, trade requirements, scoring, and prizes. Paper events also specify a starting balance. Read and accept the Rulebook before joining; it governs that competition.
